John Rettger, Ph.D. | Clinical Supervisor
Dr. John Rettger is a California licensed clinical psychologist (PSY27863) in private practice in Palo Alto, CA. He specializes in the integration of evidence-based treatments with methods of mindfulness and yoga-based wellness and existential-humanistic and transpersonal psychotherapy. He has taught mindfulness-based treatments for trauma, anxiety, and depression nationally and has extensive experience as a meditation and yoga instructor in a number of professional settings. In addition to private practice and his work as a clinical supervisor at Sofia, John is the Director of Mindfulness Programming in the Stanford University Early Life Stress and Pediatric Anxiety Program. His research concentrates on mindfulness and yoga interventions for wellness in schools and community organizations.
